Bolles is a challenge of a higher level. The Bulldogs have won consecutive state championships and haven’t lost a district title since 1992. The key will be Yulee’s running back Derrick Henry vs. Bolles’ run defense. The Bulldogs are allowing under 70 yards a game on the ground. Henry averages over 250. First Coast (6-0) at Jackson (4-2), 7 p.m.: This non-district matchup of traditional Gateway Conference powers presents another obstacle for the undefeated Buccaneers. Jackson is an athletic team that has gained some confidence by winning four of its past five games. First Coast should try to exploit Jackson’s run defense. The Tigers surrendered 512 rushing yards in a 56-28 loss to White two weeks ago. The Buccaneers have an enviable duo of running backs, Rashod Byers and Daron White. Jackson’s defense rebounded well last week in shutting out Parker, but First Coast is significantly more explosive than the Braves.

Nease (3-3) at St. Augustine (6-0), 7 p.m.: The top area rivalry of the past decade has lost some luster, but it remains one of the most intense atmospheres. The Yellow Jackets haven’t missed a beat, and they are primed for another run at the 3A state title. Defensively, St. Augustine has been as fierce as any team in the area, allowing 4.5 points a game. Nease enters the game on a two-game skid and has scored eight combined points in its past two games. While the game is out of district play, the teams could meet again in the playoffs.

Authorities arrest 3 in schoolbook scam

A schoolbook buyback scam that netted $5,831 in cash was stopped this week with the arrest of three employees of the bookstore at Florida State College at Jacksonville’s Kent Campus.

Rashe Lynett Miles, 21; Arkim K. Hampton, 36; and Viviana S. Zayas, 21, were all arrested on charges of employee theft, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office. All three worked at the college bookstore at 3939 Roosevelt Blvd.

Police said bookstore officials recently conducted an audit and discovered thousands of dollars in books were apparently missing. That’s when the book buyback scam was uncovered. Police said employees took used books off the store shelf, scanned the label to see what it was worth, then filled out a fake buyback form with fictitious name and Social Security number.

They’re accused of pocketing the cash value of the books that had been “bought back,” splitting the money earned at the end of each day, according to the arrest report.

Ha ha ha ah hhhaaaaaaa. That shit is funny to me. I’ve totally had jobs that were so shitty, I just had to steal shit/$$$. Never went to jail though. Idiots.
